Phoobadin won via Unanimous Decision & continued his winning streak with his 8th title defence, while on the other hand Indian Mizo boxing star Vanlalawmpuia showed an amazing courage & heart by standing strong all 10rounds. Vanlalawmpuia became the 1st Indian Pro Boxer to fight a WBA World Ranked #9 boxer which itself needs a lot of courage in accepting a rematch against an undefeated experienced boxer.
With this said, Vanlalawmpuia can be credited for bringing a huge fan following as the live-streaming viewership for Saturday’s WBA Title fight hit rocket high with over 5K live viewers on the TL Boxing Promotion Youtube channel with at least 400K impressions post livestream.
His coach Sete of Sete Boxing Academy will now be focusing on improvising his training for his continued boxing career.
